For Hudsyn Truitt, racing has never just been a hobby—it’s a family tradition. His great-grandfather started the family's love for racing, and that passion has been passed down from generation to generation. Hudsyn is now proudly carrying on that tradition, climbing into his first race car at just 5 years old and growing up at the racetrack. Now 16, Hudsyn has grown into a determined and competitive micro sprint driver, but his character means just as much as his accomplishments. He is humble and respectful, believes in clean driving, and races others the way he wants to be raced. He’s also always willing to lend a hand to the younger racers, offer advice, or help them however he can. He remembers being that little kid in the pits looking up to the older drivers, and now he gets the chance to be that person for someone else. It’s countless hours in the shop, late nights at the track, wins that you'll never forget, tough losses that teach you something, and a whole lot of memories made together along the way. For Hudsyn, every time he straps into a race car, he’s not only chasing the next checkered flag, he’s carrying on a family tradition that started generations before him.
